2. Ciao Mambo – Located downtown with a welcoming atmosphere, with great portions and one of the most delicious Italian restaurants we have come across. (Tip for those who like Alfredo, you MUST try it here!) Of course, the service is wonderful and the desserts, delicious.
4. Loula’s Café – This casual downtown café is a local favorite. Indeed, Loula’s is known for its made-from-scratch baked goods, breakfast dishes, and sandwiches. And, it’s truly a great spot for a quick lunch or to grab something to go. Truthfully, you’ll love their fresh-tasting menu with products bought locally. It’s fresh, fresh, fresh!

8. Buffalo Café – Are you looking for a choice of old Montana and an edgy good place? Buffalo offers a casual diner that serves the classics. Either breakfast dishes, burgers, and sandwiches, the choice is yours. Of course, you’ll love the portions. Actually, they are generous, and the prices are reasonable. And, there’s history in this family-owned restaurant so be sure to check them out for a truly home-cooked meal.
9. Piggyback BBQ is perfect if you’re craving authentic BBQ. Their fresh local ingredients make for a delicious combination of meats and sauces. They can get busy, especially if their out front tables are full during the summer. So if you’re game for take-out, it’s the quickest way to get your meal. Portions are generous and delicious. Our favorite is to rent a boat from the Lodge, and pick up our pre-ordered food and have a great sunset boat ride on Whitefish Lake. If you get messy you can just jump in the lake, right? We agree, it’s so worth it!!
10. Wasabi Sushi Bar – A small, cozy sushi spot that serves fresh sushi and sashimi dishes. Of course, the prices are great. And, you’ll love the quality which is top-notch so try those Cadillac Crab Cakes!
